Search is a currency command in Dank Memer that gives you three random places to search, with a random chance of getting some coins, items, or nothing.

Overview

In search, you're given three places to choose, each with an outcome of its own. Choosing a place can result in getting coins, and items if lucky, or death if unlucky, neutral results can also happen, resulting in nothing.

You can perform a search command using /search.

Trivia

• Sometimes, the user may die and receive an item at the same time. The most notable example is in the Hospital. This is also possible with the police officer and the tesla.
• New users have higher chance to get possible items in their first search.
• You can gain the "Hide and Seek Champion" badge if you search successfully 10k times. You can also gain the "Platinum Hide and Seek Champion" badge for successfully searching 15k times.
• If you find an item while searching, the search message will also say, under the message shown after searching, "And you lucky ducky, you also found [item]!" if the search was successful, and "But hey, at least you found [item]!" if you found nothing or died.
• While searching, there was an extremely low (0.01% ~ 0.15%) chance that you could receive an item, where once obtained gave you any amount between 1 million "(currency)" and 25 billion "(currency)" depending on the RNG. It also had a 50% chance of the user dying once consumed. This item was removed from the search command at some point between October 2021 and 2022. There has only been 1 documented case of a user receiving such an Item in October of 2021, granting them 0.75 billion in-game currency.
