Farm is a currency command in Dank Memer that lets you plant crops on a 3x3 land, basically a small farming simulator game.

You can view either your own or someone else's farm using /farm view [user].

Overview[]

The first time starting your own farm, you are required to have at least a hoe and a watering tool like a watering can, or a watering bucket in your inventory.

You might also find a fertilizer bag useful later on, since it'll reduce the time needed for a crop to fully grow.

Starting[]

Viewing your own farm with /farm view, first, you have to buy a hoe from the shop. It will cost ⏣ 100,000 coins. Alternatively, you can also buy it from the market, but the prices will vary. Once you have the hoe, select the "Use Item" button.

Tiling[]

Tiling dirt for your farm

This will prompt you with a new menu that shows your tools and seeds, select the green hoe button, and now you have 9 different buttons in a 3x3 layout.

In the bottom right corner of all 9 dirts, each has a number linked to the 3x3 buttons in the embed.

With your hoe, press the button that is linked with the dirt you wanna have tilled to plant in, or in a normal case, just press all 1 to 9 buttons to till all the dirt.

After you're finished with tilling the dirt, you can now press "Go Back" to swipe back to the previous menu.

Note that hoes and watering cans can break after several uses, so make sure to buy a few.

Watering[]

You must either buy a watering can, or a water bucket from the shop or the market. Each item cost ⏣ 100,000 coins on the shop. Not having either a can or a bucket to water your farm will not allow you to plant seeds, since you're required to water the dirt first before planting.

Now in the previous menu, select the green watering can button, which will then show you the exact same layout as the hoe. Repeat the process like the one you did with the hoe, and then you can go back.

Alternatively, you can dump the water bucket into the middle of the farm (Tile 5) which will water all of the surrounding tiles. The bucket is a one-time use item, and it will take a day before it rots and dries up. so make sure to stock up on the buckets.

Planting[]

If you've bought a potato seed from the shop, or at least have a broccoli seed or a carrot seed, then you'll see it in the menu as well.

Now in the previous menu, select the blurple button with a seed bag on it, whichever ones you want to plant.

This will show you the exact same layout as the previous two items, but now you're going to plant the seeds, press anywhere you want to plan the seeds on.

Do note that seeds can only be planted in a tilled and watered dirt.

After that, you can go back, and let it grow on its own.

If you want a crop to grow faster, using a Fertilizer Bag will cut its growing time by 50%. For example, if broccoli has 20 hours left to grow, using the Fertilizer Bag will cut the time down to 10 hours.

Planting Patterns[]

There is a chance that the special seeds won't show up the first/second/third time you do it, so keep repeating the pattern until it shows up.

Make sure that all the dirts have been tilled and watered, and don't use Fertilizer Bags, as the chances of seeds spawning in is way higher if given enough time.

Key notes:

  • ✔️ = Where the seeds will spawn on
  • ❌ = This is an empty space, nothing will spawn in it, but it should be left empty.

Diamond[]

This is a special one, as it doesn't require a specific pattern like the others. For this one, leave out 1 or more tiles empty (but watered and tilled). The best way to do this is to dump a water bucket in tile 5, and leave the other tiles tilled. There will be a 0.6% chance of spawning either a Worm, Mole Man, or a diamond on every empty tile every hour. This will likely take a few days for it to appear.

You can also "plant" fish. For this, you can dump as many water buckets on your farm as you want. You can harvest it anytime. Keep in mind that the bucket will get dirty and dry up within a day, so don't ignore it!

Harvesting[]

Certain crops take different amounts of time to mature. They can also vary in the amount of seeds and crops they give out.

  • Corn: 4 hours; 1-2 seeds back; 1-4 Corncobs
  • Carrot: 8 hours; 1-2 seeds back; 1-3 Carrots
  • Bean: 1 hour, 1-2 seeds back; 1-2 Bean
  • Diamond: 1 hour - few days; 1 Diamond
  • Worm: 1 hour - few days; 1-3 Worms

Consequences of harvesting incorrectly[]

If the crops are prematurely/early harvested, they'll give you back the original seed, but you will not earn the actual crop and possibly extra seeds. For example, if a carrot crop is harvested 30 minutes before it matures, you will get your carrot seed back, but you will not receive an extra seed, nor the carrot itself.

If the crops are wilted (waited too long to harvest), you will NOT get your original seed back, nor any benefits. Therefore, it's important to prevent any wilting by remembering to check on your farm frequently. If you completed the achievements giving the special seeds and have the plants wilt, you will lose those seeds and will have to do a process that is a lot harder in order to get it back. The 2 ways to get them back is from the Market, or by planting patterns.

Wilting times for crops[]

Once a crop matures, the player is given 3 days to harvest it before the plant wilts. The countdown will not start when the plant is still growing. For example, if a potato still has 30 minutes left to mature, the 24-hour countdown will not start until the potato is ready to be harvested, which means that you can ignore your farm for up to 74 hours (from you planting the seed to the wilt deadline) before the potato wilts. The times are as follows:

Potato: 74 hours (from planting the seed to wilt deadline)

Corn: 76 hours (from planting the seed to wilt deadline)

Carrot: 80 hours (from planting the seed to wilt deadline)

Broccoli: 96 hours (from planting the seed to wilt deadline)

Bean: 72.5 hours (from planting the seed to wilt deadline)

Watermelon: 108 hours (from planting to seed to wilt deadline)
